You foundation year programme is composed of five modules, of which some are completed within a single semester and others continue over the two semesters.
Each module fulfills a key area of art & design practice and equal importance to your developmentas a creative practitioner.
Modules have a particular credit value and you shall complete the equivalent of 60 credits in each semester and a total of 120 credits.
You are required to pass each module in order to successful complete the programme. You need to complete the prgramme in order to progress onto the degree programmes
There shall be a range of additional learning activities which you shall need to undertake in support of the modules and your programme as a whole.
Each module has a specific set of aims and learning goals and you shall receive a specific scheme of activities for each. These schemes of work are outlined in detail in a project assignment document called a PA2
For each module there is a member of staff who is the module co-cordinator , who is responsible for the management & organisation of the module. There may also be additional members of staff who make up the module staff team who deliver the module content, shall be your subject tutors providing guindnace and feedback during the module activity and also undertake the assessment of your work.
